This animation is an exploration in motion graphics with a focus on type animation. Assigned in my class Digital Media in Motion, we were tasked to create a text-based animation for a poem or small piece of writing. I chose [i carry your heart with me(i carry it in] by E. E. Cummings, because of its open-ended writing and interesting punctuation. It is poem emanating romance, with writing that describes abstract concepts about love. Thus, I needed to animate the motions of love and translate these concepts from writing to visuals, and keeping the original intentions of the poem while tracking the movement to song
